Poltegor-Institute” has been designing and manufacturing modern vulcanizing presses since 1950, ensuring the fulfillment of process requirements for rubber conveyor belts of all types and categories with widths ranging from 650 to 2,250 mm. Depending on the number of plies and the strength of the belt, the length of the splice, the construction of heating plates, and the number of supporting beams are determined. Considering various user requirements, many innovative technical solutions have been developed through process automation, new plate designs, original flexible compensating units (replacing hydraulic actuators), the possibility of using aluminum and steel supporting beams, and other improvements aimed at enhancing operational values and increasing the durability of components and assemblies.

PHNA type presses are used for splicing fabric-rubber and steel-cord belts using the hot vulcanization method directly on the conveyor or in a vulcanization workshop. The press ensures full automation of temperature control and pressure maintenance in the hydraulic system without the need for operator intervention during the vulcanization process.

Besides the upper and lower supporting beams, the press also includes:

  • A set of heating plates used to create appropriate thermal conditions for belt splicing,
  • The ZPG type heating plate power supply is used to power and regulate the temperature of heating plates in vulcanizing presses supplied from a 3-phase 400V or 500V, 5-wire network (TN-S type). The power supply protects the connected heating plates from short-circuits, overloads, and provides temperature regulation,
  • The hydraulic power unit is used to generate the necessary hydraulic pressure to effectively apply pressure to the splice during vulcanization. It is equipped with a 3-phase motor and an electro-hydraulic switch with adjustable pressure setting,
  • The accessory container is used for storing hydraulic hoses, electric cables, and screws. The container is placed on wheels, allowing it to be easily moved short distances on a flat surface
