In our offer, we have a variety of patterns for profiled conveyor belts, both in terms of shape and size. The offer is constantly modified and developed according to the needs of our customers. Most profiles are applied directly to the belt using the hot vulcanization method. This ensures greater durability of the belt and allows for the use of special mixtures, such as oil-resistant and high-temperature-resistant compounds.
Profiled conveyor belts find wide application in every industry. They are used wherever there is a need for transporting materials at an increased incline angle. They enable more efficient transport, prevent materials from slipping, and reduce material spillage. The recommended maximum incline angle for the use of profiled belts is approximately 20°. In the range of 20 to 40°, we offer profiles with heights ranging from 6 to 100 mm, while for incline angles above 40°, we recommend using belts with rubber cleats. Due to the shape of the profiles, the belts can be grouped as follows:
Belts with V-shaped profiles

Used on conveyors with standard construction as for flat belts. Profiles with Herringbone pattern are produced with heights ranging from 6 to 35 mm. They have very versatile applications, especially for transporting bulk materials of various densities. Their shape is designed to allow the conveyor to work in a three or four-idler trough. The profile pitch is chosen to ensure that the belt “flows” smoothly over the idlers on the return side, avoiding unnecessary vibrations.
Belts with transverse profiles

Require special support using idlers with rings. They are produced with heights ranging from 15 to 100 mm, in a single, double, or triple divided configuration. They can work on flat conveyors as well as in trough arrangements. Longer conveyors require three to four-point support on the return side with idlers and rings. They have versatile applications for both bulk and packaged materials.
Corrugated sidewall conveyor belts

Require special conveyor constructions. They are most commonly used for vertical transport or wherever the conveyor operates at a steep incline angle. In Poltegor Institute, corrugated sidewalls with heights ranging from 40 to 240 mm and appropriately selected transverse cleats ensuring a box-type belt construction are produced. Upon the customer’s request, corrugated sidewalls and cleats can have vulcanized reinforcement in the form of fabric layers. Corrugated sidewalls up to 80 mm in height are applied along with cleats directly onto the belt using the hot vulcanization method.
Special belts

Upon the customer’s request, we develop and implement solutions tailored to specific transportation problems, taking into account the specifics of a particular facility. Sometimes these are innovative and prototype solutions, which, after a trial period, are replicated and adopted by other customers.
